In my previous post, I shared my latest yarn haul. This time I’ll be sharing my fabric haul.
I think I promised myself almost a year and a half ago to stop buying yarns. Although I was successful for quite some time, I couldn’t help but notice that yarn stores are popping up everywhere! Yey more yarns! But I have so much yarns and so little output that it makes me feel guilty to just keep them around.
One of the things that I love about crochet is that it’s delicate and elegant even in its simplicity. This top looks so classy because of the fine thread used and the fact that lace, even in its simplest form, looks expensive.
Ever since I started sewing, I was on the look out for supplies and fabrics. I have amassed quite a lot and I wouldn’t have if it weren’t for the lot of helpful blogs that I regularly consult. So instead of rewriting everything that was already beautifully and meticulously written, I would like to share a list of the blogs I consult plus some summaries. I will also include in the list online alternatives for those other hard to find sewing supplies.
I have always wanted to make this bag ever since I saw it on Ravelry years ago. Back then I think it had another name in another language with a very unreadable diagram.
Going a little off the radar for now for some needed alone time with the husband. Can’t believe I’m staying in paradise for a week!
As part of welcoming this year, I promised to finish all my works-in-progress (WIP). Before I can actually successfully finish this, I needed to list down all the projects I started and figure out why I dropped them in the first place. Hopefully this process of identifying pain points will help me to finish them, finally.
I am absolutely in love with my sewing machine. It’s so pretty and compact that I want to sew everyday (even if I can’t).
I’ve been wanting to sew ever since I started this blog which was way back in 2012. I’ve been telling myself that I would get a sewing machine. But I never did (oh gosh, why I waited this long, I wouldn’t know). I posted a lot of sewing tutorials on Pinterest, read a lot of blogs, envied a lot of other bloggers for more then 2 years and finally, I’m not just going to dream anymore. It’s finally here! I have a sewing machine! *tears of joy*
Hi guys, I’ve been MIA for the past week because I went to Hong Kong to celebrate my birthday with my family! BUT I’m back and I can’t wait to share with you my trip’s itinerary and highlights in the upcoming posts. Anyway, before I share my travel adventure, I’d like to share another adventure: going blonde-ish.
I wanted to go blonde again before but my go to hair color, Etude House’s Bubble Hair Color in Golden Blonde, was out of stock everywhere. I searched in their Eastwood and SM Megamall branches, but all the sales ladies said that there would be no stock for a month. Again. I think this was the second time in 6 months that it was out of stock when I went searching for it. (Note to self: haul Golden Blonde when it comes back in stock for future use).
